Qingdao Textile and Garment Material Testing Center Co., Ltd. was established in February 2006. It is a formal third-party testing agency with a independent registered legal body and approved by Qingdao Administration for Industry and Commerce. The company covers an area of 1,500 M2 and has seven labs including constant temperature and humidity lab, physical and chemical analysis lab, and functional labs which meet international standards. It has introduced more than 140 sets of world advanced testing instruments, including scanning electron microscope, high performance liquid phase tandem quadrupole mass spectrometer, atomic absorption spectrometer, gas chromatography-mass spectrometer, capillary flow aperture meter, hydrostatic pressure resistance meter and other key equipment, which have been included in the resource sharing platform for large-scale scientific instruments in Qingdao.

Since establishment, the company has strictly followed CNAS-CL01:2018 “Accreditation Criteria for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories”(ISO/IEC 17025:2017）and RB/T214-2017 “General Requirements for Inspection and Testing Institutions for the Evaluation of the Qualification and Accreditation Ability of Inspection and Testing Institutions”. All procedures are formal, operation is standardized and management is strict, which has accumulated a lot of testing theory and practical experience. In February 2007, it obtained the laboratory accreditation certificate of China National Conformity Assessment Commission (CNAS) (No.: CNAS L2961); In March 2011, it was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China as the first lot of "National SME Service Demonstration Platforms (Testing)"; In 2018, it was awarded the Jimo (national level) public service testing platform for export clothing quality and safety demonstration zone. In July 2020, it passed the qualification and capability certification of inspection and testing institutions of Shandong Market Supervision Bureau and obtained the CMA qualification certificate.

The company mainly makes tests for textile fabric and garments, including fiber composition analysis, color fastness, shrinkage, functions and other physical tests.
